What Is a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC)?
A continuing care retirement community, or CCRC, offers several levels of care on one campus, so residents can move between them as needs change.
How it works
Residents often start in independent living and can move to assisted living, memory care or skilled nursing on the same campus if needed.
